Trailer Trash - Classy Version

Alright team.

I am going to live in a trailer. Correction: We are going to live in a trailer:
Him:

And me:

and sometimes her:

We look like we could be trailer dwelling folks, right?

Well we have been looking for months for a trailer to buy.

Finally we found one. A beaut. From the 80's. Mmmmmmmmmmhmmmmmmmmmm

Here she is:

BUT: While my partner has been gone fighting fires - hence the ashy face - I have been working my fingers to the bone to get this trailer revamped.

The plan is to paint some stuff, take some stuff out, put some stuff in, etc, etc.

Here she is midway through the prepping process:

Mostly I just took all the doors off of everything. I was pretending to be a carpenter/painter/whatever job takes doors off of things.

Here I am pretending to be a seamstress:

I like to pretend I know how to do things until I actually do know how to do things. It works out super well actually.

Stay tuned for the rest of the revamp of our camper. I like to call it our recamp.

Knowledge: What do you do with it? OR What does it do with you?

I have been meaning to write this post for a loooonnnnggggggg (<-- see what I did there?) time. A really long time. So here it is.

I have been told by multiple sources that I have the ability to learn something and then live my life according to that knowledge. Make sense?

For example, I learned that there is poop. everywhere. always. So now I close the toilet seat when I flush. *that was an awkward example*

I can't not do that now. I learned it and now to not close the toilet seat when possible seems an insult to that knowledge that I now have. I cannot forget or ignore or unlearn it. I learn something and it CHANGES ME.

I learned last year just how bad High Fructose Corn Syrup can be for you. Now when I shop, I (for the most part) buy things WITHOUT HFCS. I have to do it. I cannot not do it now.

Sometimes it is so inconvenient. I just want to unlearn those things and go back to the whole ignorance is bliss junk. Life was easier when I didn't know that there is poop everywhere, or that HFCS creates a hugely problematic response in insulin levels and all that jazz.

It amazes people. I guess knowledge doesn't change people like it changes me.

I live life according to the knowledge that I have. If you don't change your life as you learn then what good is learning things? I guess that confuses me. What do you do with knowledge if not change your life?

I guess this is my way of accepting the light so that I may receive more...

Does not changing make you a hypocrite? A fool? Normal?

I think I have an ego problem...

There is a slight possibility that I have an inflamed ego. I am not sure why or how but it could be a thing.

Like when I hear people tell me how hard something is, I automatically assume that I could accomplish that thing.

For example, when at a sporting event like a basketball game and they have the half time competitions, I always believe I could do whatever the activity better than the people doing it.
"Oh, all I have to do is this:

....

not even a problem."

Or....pshhhh you think that this

....is hard? Yeah right"

Why I think I could do it best, I do not know. Its an ego thing...

Another example. The Bachelor or Bachelor Pad. I honest to goodness believe that I could beat any other girl or guy I was competing against.

NOT even that I would win cause I was strategizing or scheming or training or plotting. I believe that I could walk in and take the prize just purely by being Kylee.

Is this normal?
